At Blue Cactus Equine Therapy, my goal is to provide safe, effective, and individualized massage therapy to support each horse’s well-being and performance. Please take a moment to review the following policies before booking a session.

General Policies

• Appointments: Please arrive or have your horse ready at the scheduled time. Horses should be reasonably clean and dry prior to sessions.

• Cancellations: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may result in a partial charge.

• Travel/Farm Call Fee: A travel fee may apply depending on distance. This will be discussed prior to booking.

• Payment: Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. I currently accept cash, card, or electronic payment methods.

Scope of Practice

• I am a Certified Equine Massage Therapist, not a veterinarian.

• Massage therapy is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment.

• I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or perform any veterinary procedures.

• If your horse is experiencing illness or injury, please consult a licensed veterinarian before scheduling a session.

Liability & Risk Acknowledgment

By booking a session with Blue Cactus Equine Therapy, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Equine massage therapy involves working with live animals that may react unpredictably.

• You, as the owner or handler, assume all responsibility for your horse’s behavior during and after the session.

• You agree that Blue Cactus Equine Therapy and its representative(s) are not liable for injury, illness, or damage to the horse, handler, property, or any other party arising from participation in or observation of a massage therapy session.

• You understand that results vary based on the individual horse and its condition. No guarantee is made regarding specific outcomes or performance improvements.

Media Release

By booking, you consent to your horse being photographed or recorded during sessions for educational or promotional use by Blue Cactus Equine Therapy (social media, website, etc.), unless you specify otherwise in writing.

Consent to Treatment

By scheduling a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the above policies and disclaimers. You voluntarily consent to equine massage therapy and release Blue Cactus Equine Therapy from any and all liability related to your horse’s participation in such services.
